Who
are we? Walk of Faith Community Center
is faith based charity serving the west side of Cleveland. We offer a variety of services to the community throughout
the year. What is our Mission? To provide individuals, families and communities with resources and services
to enhance their quality of life and thus embody the unconditional love of Christ.
Do you have to be a Christian to use our services ? Absolutely
NOT! Our services are available to all. We are here for the entire community and do
not discriminate based on religion, race, age, sex, or marital status.
What are your requirements?
Based on our resources we serve only the 44111 & 44135 communities at this time. Our services
require you to show proof of residency. Since we are partners with the Cleveland Foodbank, it is required that
you meet the Federal Poverty Guidlines (FPG) as well. If you live outside these areas or do not fit the FPG , please
contact United Way's First Call for help. You may either dial 211 on a landline phone or on the web at www.211cleveland.org. They can direct you to services in your area. What
do we have to offer?

Donation Center*** We have a donation center that is open to the community and offer clothes, coats, bedding, baby items and more to
the community for FREE. We have partnered with Hannah's Socks and Soles 4 Souls to provide socks and shoes at the
center as well. Open Wednesdays from 6:30-8pm excluding holidays. Food
Pantry*** We partnered with the Cleveland
Foodbank in September 2009. This partnership has allowed us to expand our pantry to include dry foods, refridgerated
foods, frozen foods, bakery items, fresh produce and toiletries. Open every Weds from 6-8pm. Doors open at 5:30p
and we start serving at 6pm. You may come once every 4 weeks and must live in 44111 & 44135 areas. ***You can NOT participate in both programs the same night. You must alternate your nights at
the food pantry and donation center. You may visit each program 1x every 4 weeks.
Pastoral Counseling Pastoral counseling is offered by an ordained pastor to help with marriage, family
and pre-marriage counseling. Please call Pastor Kevin Kuehmichel for an appointment at 216-941-3270. Ohio Benefit
Bank(OBB) The Ohio Benefit
Bank (OBB) is a web-based computer program to connect low and moderate-income Ohioans with access to work supports such
as tax credits and public benefits. The OBB is offered through a public-private partnership between the
Governor's Office of Faith-Based and Community
Initiatives, the Ohio Association of Second Harvest Foodbanks and over 1000 faith-based, nonprofit,
governmental and private-sector partners. Trained counselors staff Benefit Bank sites in all of Ohio's 88 counties
where they help prepare and file federal and Ohio income tax returns at no cost to eligible Ohioans. Free income tax assistance is also available through an online, self-service
program.
Ohioans
can also check potential eligibility and apply for other work support benefits such as health care coverage, home energy assistance, child
care subsidies, and food assistance. See the OBB page for days and times.
We are always looking for volunteers for the donation area, food pantry and
teen center. Please call 216-941-3270 or email Lisa at lisa.falkenstein@yahoo.com for more information. **All adults are required to have background checks in order to work with the TEEN ESTEEM drop

For when I was hungry and you fed me. I was thirsty,
and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. I was naked, and you gave me clothing,
I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me... Matthew 25
